Dear Dr. Coccia,
As I was checking my calendar to deal with some upcoming social events, I joyously realized this month (September 2022) I celebrate being 10 years breast cancer-free. I know some folks mark their anniversaries of “all clear” after chemo, radiation, or other treatments, but I choose to celebrate the date of my breast cancer surgery: September 25, 2012.
In doing so, I wanted, needed, to thank you for doing an excellent job of removing “all evidence of cancer” in my upper-body areas. The minimal scarring is a silent reminder that life is short, and we need to appreciate every day we have to celebrate living, and enjoy those who are dear to us.
So, thank you again, Dr. Coccia, for all you do. Stay well, kind, and gifted.
I truly appreciate your excellent skills, bedside manner, and all you have done for me.
Kind regards,
Virginia (Ginger) Modiri
